Beaches affected by Cyclone Shaheen cleaned, rehabilitated: EA

Muscat: The Environment Authority has completed the work of cleaning and rehabilitation for the beaches in the wilayats affected by cyclone Shaheen in North Al Batinah Governorate.

"After 29 days of continuous work about 70 km were covered and more than 15,000 tons of waste were transported," the Environment Authority said.

"The authority appreciates the institutional and societal efforts that participated in supporting the efforts made in protecting the Omani environment."
