Muscat: The 'Million Palm Tree Project' was among the projects included in the Sustainability Forest section in the Sultanate of Oman’s pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai.
A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA) said :"The Sustainability Forest section of the Sultanate of Oman’s pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai includes Omani projects that align with a major theme in this global event, which is sustainability. Among these projects are the Million Palm Trees Project and high-tech fish farming to develop the fish farming sector and to produce sustainable and clean electric energy. Other projects being the Arabian tiger, the Oman Botanic Garden and Al Amerat landfill, to become a land used by migratory birds as a feeding station during their flights, and EMushrif. "
