Oman Cricket announces women's series against Wanstead Cricket Club

Muscat: Oman Cricket will be hosting a bilateral women’s series with Wanstead Cricket Club, UK in January.

Team selection will be conducted on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, between 4pm and 6pm at the Oman Cricket Academy in Al Amerat.

18 women cricketers will be part of the Oman’s women team for the series. Interested cricketers are requested to adhere to and participate in the selection process.

Scheduled to start from January 16th till January 21, 2022 at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground, the match format in the tournament will be of 30 overs and 20 overs a side.

The bilateral series holds the potential to set a stage for budding cricketers to test their skill and gain recognition among the dignitaries present on the Board.”
