OCCI praises unified guide for pricing government service fees
His Excellency Eng. Ridha bin Juma Al Saleh, Chairman of the Chamber’s Board of Directors

Muscat  The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) has appreciated the preparation of the unified guide for pricing government service fees.

"His Excellency Eng. Ridha bin Juma Al Saleh, Chairman of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, appreciated the preparation of the unified guide for pricing government service fees, which comes in implementation of the royal directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik with the aim of finding a unified mechanism for determining and pricing service," OCCI said in a statement.

His Excellency said that these directives, which coincide with the Sultanate's celebrations of the 51st National Day, are a noble honour from His Majesty the Sultan for the private sector and support for foreign investment.

Al Saleh also said that these directives translate the high interest from His Majesty, which is reflected in the future vision of Oman 2040 and the pillars it contains that work to empower the private sector and also focus on achieving economic diversification

His Excellency the Chairman of the Chamber added that the reduction of fees enhances the incentives and facilities provided by the government to the business sector, which represents a qualitative leap to stimulate the national economy and an important addition to the elements of investment attraction in the Sultanate. This reduction in fees will encourage investors to establish their projects in the Sultanate of Oman.

His Excellency indicated that the private sector and business owners are invited to take advantage of this incentive and take the initiative to contribute to strengthening the national economy by focusing on the promising sectors that are covered.
