Rules on stickers on vehicles for National Day announced

Muscat: People are allowed to place national stickers on their vehicles on the occasion of 51st National Day from November 8 till November 30, 2021, the Directorate General of Traffic announced on Monday.

"National stickers are allowed to be placed on vehicles on the occasion of 51st National Day from November 8, 2021 to November 30, 2021."

The following controls will be applicable for placing stickers on the vehicle: -

 1- The stickers must be well attached.

 2- The stickers should not extend to the vehicle’s front and side windows, its number plates and lights. The pictures in the rear window should only be of the type that allows the driver to see through the glass.

 3- Do not put unfastened fabrics and it is forbidden to put them on the engine cover.

 4- Do not use offensive and immoral expressions

 5- Not to change the colour and shape of the vehicle or use unpolished materials or stickers that do not comply with traffic safety requirements

6- The posters should be limited to pictures and phrases related to the occasion.

7- Do not put the crown and dagger emblem as a sticker.
