Muscat: The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism has urged all hotel establishments to continue to adhere to the precautionary measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
"It has recently been observed that some hotel and tourist establishments have been negligent in adhering to the precautionary measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19," the Ministry said in a statement.
Therefore, the Ministry would like to urge all hotel and tourist establishments to abide by all the decisions issued by this Ministry and other competent authorities regarding the prevention of the spread of the coronavirus. They are also urged to continue to reduce the number of visitors at hotel facilities such as restaurants and banquet halls and other facilities to 50 per cent of the total capacity in order to avoid legal action.
