Farewell ceremony held for Royal Navy of Oman Vessel

Muscat: The Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth sponsored the farewell ceremony for the Royal Navy of Oman Vessel (Shabab Oman II) on Sunday.

A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA) said: "His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, sponsored the farewell ceremony for the Shabab Oman II, which will sail to the Gulf Cooperation Council countries on its fifth international voyage. Through it, it embodies the pioneering role played by the vessel, which is to convey the message of brotherhood, peace and bonds of friendship to the people of the world."
