Thunderstorms predicted in parts of Oman

Muscat: Thunderstorms associated with downward winds have been predicted over parts of the Sultanate of Oman on Sunday and Monday, Oman Meteorology said.

"There are chances of cloud formation with thunderstorms accompanied by active downward winds that may lead to water flowing in wadis and reefs in Musandam Governorate, Al Hajar Mountains and the neighboring areas extending to the coastal areas of the Sea of Oman today and tomorrow," Oman Meteorology said in a statement.
