DBBS urges you to donate blood every 3 or 4 months

Muscat: The Department of Blood Banks Services (DBBS) has urged people to donate blood every three or four months.

"Many cases need blood transfusion and some of these cases need a large number of blood units. As each blood donor can donate one unit of blood, blood banks need more donors per day. The need for blood continues, donate blood every three or four months," DBBS said in a statement.
