Muscat: People looking to write the IELTS examination can now get their results back in just three days, after upgrades were made to the exam centre in Bausher.
“We would like to announce that we have begun offering CD-IELTS exams on our premises in the ground floor of the Muscat University building,” said Abdulmajid Al Majali, managing director for Muscat Training Institute. “The institute has been offering paper-based exams since June 2021.
“Now, however, the new format will allow candidates to hasten the process of receiving their examination results, as they can sit for it almost six days in a week, and can obtain their results within up to three to five days,” he added.
The inauguration ceremony at the upgraded centre was attended by Rashi Bhattacharya, the country director for IDP’s operations in Oman, UAE, Qatar, Turkey and Kazakhstan, as well as the owners of MTI: Chairman Suleiman Al Mhrazi and Director Dr. Nasser Al Dhihly, as well as Abdulmajid Al Majali.
MTI delivers a wide-range of English language training and IELTS preparation courses.
IELTS, or the International English Language Testing System, is an English language assessment exam that tests people’s language skills across four disciplines: reading, speaking, writing, and listening.
A pioneer of English language testing, the exam was conceptualised over 25 years ago, and continues to set the standard for English language testing today. IELTS is jointly owned by the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia and Cambridge Assessment English.
