Floward, the go-to online flowers and gifts delivery destination in MENA and UK has launched its Pink October campaign aimed at raising awareness for early detection across Muscat.
Through this campaign, Floward collaborated with Oman Cancer Association to host a booth at Muscat City Centre where it distributed pink flowers and educational leaflets to visitors to encourage them to get tested.
It also hosted sessions to raise awareness and educate about this disease and how to deal with it and the importance of early detection at OQ8 and Ahli Bank in addition to distributing flowers and leaflets to employees and visitors.
Additionally, Floward visited Sultan Qaboos Comprehensive Cancer Care & Research Centre and distributed flowers to the medical staff and patients battling the disease to raise morale.
Floward CEO, Abdulaziz B. Al Loughani said: “Communicating with our communities and carrying out activities and events related to issues and events that interest them is at the heart of our strategy in Floward. To achieve these goals, we partner with the relevant organizations to provide support and assistance in any way possible. We would like to thank all our partners for giving us the opportunity to spread awareness about this disease and we hope we were successful in reaching as many women as possible to encourage them to get tested.”
