British Chief of Defence Staff leaves Oman

Muscat: The British Chief of the Defence Staff left the Sultanate of Oman on Tuesday.

"Gen Sir Nicholas Carter, British Chief of the Defence Staff, and his accompanying delegation left the country after a two-day official visit to the Sultanate of Oman," Oman News Agency (ONA) said in a statement.

ONA added that the British Chief of the Defence Staff was seen off at Muscat International Airport by Brigadier Hassan bin Ali Al Mujaini, Head of Moral Guidance and Military Protocols at the Chief of Staff of the Sultan's Armed Forces (COSAF) and Defence Attaché at the British Embassy in Muscat.
