Earthquake recorded in Gulf of Aden

Muscat: An earthquake was recorded in the Gulf of Aden on Tuesday, the Earthquake Monitoring Centre (EMC) at Sultan Qaboos University said.

A statement issued online by the EMC said: "An earthquake in Gulf of Aden with a magnitude of 4.6 at 4.35 am MCT and at a depth of 10 km has been recorded. The earthquake was recorded 604 km away from Salalah."
