Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has received the greetings of the Syrian President.
A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA), said :"His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has received the greetings of His Excellency President Bashar Al Assad, President of the Syrian Arab Republic.This came when His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud al-Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers, received Dr. Hassan Mohammad Al Ghabbash, the Syrian Minister of Health, who is currently visiting the Sultanate of Oman."
"During the meeting, a review of the existing bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to enhance cooperation in the fields of health care and treatment services and the desire to benefit from the Omani experience in facing the pandemic within the framework of the public health care system ware reviewed," ONA added.
Earlier in the day, His Excellency Dr.Ahmed bin Mohammad Al Saidi, Minister of Health, received Dr. Hassan Mohammad Al Ghabbash and his accompanying delegation.
