Muscat: On the occasion of Tree Day, various seedlings will be distributed to people wishing to plant them from Sunday, October 31, till Thursday, November 4, Dhofar Municipality said.
The Municipality said in a statement: "On the occasion of Tree Day, Dhofar Municipality, represented by the Department of Gardens and Afforestation, announces the distribution of various seedlings for those wishing to obtain them, starting from Sunday, October 31, 2021, to Thursday, November 4, 2021, at the municipal nursery in the Wilayat of Salalah between 8 am and 12 pm. Tuesday, November 2, 2021, will be a day dedicated to distributing seedlings to women."
The Sultanate of Oman celebrates Tree Day on October 31 of every year.
