Muscat: After a break of nearly two years due to COVID-19, the Biodiversity Centre at the Environment Authority has received students from a school in South Al Batinah Governorate.
"After stopping activities for nearly two years due to the pandemic, the Biodiversity Centre at the Environment Authority received students from Khawla School," the authority said in a statement.
The visit came on the occasion of Arab Environment Day, and is aimed at learning about wildlife and the importance of the increase in their population, and also to bring awareness to the ‘plant 10 million trees’ initiative.
