Muscat: A Bonelli's eagle has been released into its natural environment after it was rescued by a citizen in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate, the Environment Authority said.
A statement issued online by Environment Authority said, "Specialists in the Department of Environment in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate were able to return a bird of the striped eagle type (Bonelli) to its natural environment after it was found by a citizen."
"The Authority would like to thank all those who cooperate to preserve and protect wildlife."
