People in Oman urged to report location of dead animals

Muscat: The basic services sector has urged people living in areas affected by cyclone Shaheen to report the locations of dead animal carcasses as and when they spot them.

“The basic services sector alerts citizens in the affected sites to the necessity of reporting the locations of dead animals in farms or public places;  to ensure the arrival of the competent field response teams who will transfer them to the sites designated. Call the following numbers: 26061105, 26061103, 26061102, 26061118 and 26061120,” NCEM said in a statement.
