Agreement signed to provide technical, organisational support to SMEs in Oman
The agreement was signed by Halima Rashid Al Zar’ei, Chairperson of ASMED and Sheikh Ibrahim Mohammed Al Harthy, CEO of Takatuf Oman.

Muscat: The Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises Development (ASMED) signed an agreement of cooperation with Takatuf Oman to provide technical and organisational support to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to transfer knowledge and enhance professional standards.

The SMEs covered by the agreement operate in the field of human resources (HR) consultancy.

The agreement aims to polish skills and to form an advanced model of enterprises and boost the In-Country Value (ICV) of those businesses.

This agreement will generate more jobs and training opportunities for Omani youth, leading to an economy that keeps pace with changes and is based on enterprises and cadres which are qualified locally and internationally.

The agreement was signed by Halima Rashid Al Zar’ei, Chairperson of ASMED and Sheikh Ibrahim Mohammed Al Harthy, CEO of Takatuf Oman.

Several eligible enterprises will receive incentives and services, such as technical and advisory support. They will also receive support in implementing international best practices in the fields of HR consultancy and training.
