Oman attends GCC officials legislation meeting

Muscat: The Sultanate, represented by the Ministry of Justice and Legal Affairs took part in the 20th meeting of the GCC officials of legislation departments on Tuesday.

During the meeting, held via video-conferencing, the Sultanate was represented by Dr. Yahya Nasser Al Khusaibi, the ministry’s Undersecretary.

The meeting discussed report of the Secretariat General on the internal law draft of the under-secretaries committee, technical committees and working teams. It also covered the report of the Secretariat General on unifying legislative terminologies in the GCC countries.

The meeting further reviewed proposal of the Secretariat General on introducing an electronic blog for the GCC legislations.
