Oman bans import of live birds from Czech Republic, Laos

Muscat: The Ministry of Agricultural, Fisheries Wealth and Water Resources issued a ministerial decision banning the import of live birds from Czech Republic and Laos.

“Import of live birds and their products, derivatives and offal from Czech Republic and Laos is banned in Oman. This decision comes on the recommendation of the competent veterinary authority, and will continue until the reason for the ban is removed and a decision is issued in this regard,” the Ministry of Agricultural, Fisheries Wealth and Water Resources said in a statement.
