Cyclone Shaheen: Apartments available for those affected by long term power cuts

Muscat: Major damage to power supply lines in some parts of Oman are likely to take longer to repair and for those living in these areas currently without power supply, the option to move into furnished apartments for the duration of the repairs has been provided by the National Committee for Emergency Management.

“The National Committee for Emergency Management notes for families residing in the areas under the Al-Habban Station (Wadi Al-Hawasneh - Busaiteen - Al-Jawf and its affiliated villages), Habashi station and its villages.  Wadi Bani Omar Station (Al-Ghazin-Sadan-Al-Rafia-Dukal and its villages) who wish to move out of their homes that the centre is fully prepared to provide furnished apartments for accommodation in the Wilayat of Sohar.

"Specify the number of family members by contacting the temporary call operations center in the Wilayat of Suwaiq: 26061118, 26061120, 26061105, 26061103 and 26061102,” NCEM said in a statement.
