Labour Ministry, Vodafone sign pact to train Omani job seekers in ICT sector

Muscat: An agreement has been signed by the Ministry of Labour with Vodafone company to train and qualify Omani job seekers.

"The Ministry of Labour signed a cooperation programme with Vodafone to train and qualify job seekers, with the aim to implement and prepare training strategies and plans to ensure the readiness of the national workforce. It is mandatory that job seekers are employed in the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) sector," the Ministry of Labour said in a statement.
