Dubai: Dr. Ahmed bin Hilal bin Saud Al-Busaidi, Oman’s ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, stated that the Sultanate’s participation in Expo 2020 Dubai is of great importance.

"Being held in Dubai with the participation of 192 countries and international and regional organisations under the slogan "Connecting Minds and Creating the Future", Oman is keen to interact with different countries of the world in this type of event to benefit others with what it has and also benefit from what they have," he said.

He said in a statement to the Oman News Agency that the Sultanate of Oman’s pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, and its distinction by drawing inspiration from the frankincense tree, and the content it contains, which will be presented by modern visual and audio technology and technology, succeeded in embodying all the contents and sub-themes of the main title.

He added that the Sultanate also seeks the participation of various countries of the world in its quest to promote global development through work and access to pioneering and innovative solutions to boost global development, and to enhance economic growth after the corona pandemic, as the host country has identified three important areas to focus on, namely, sustainable development through rationalising the use of depleted natural resources, and mobility, considering transportation the main artery that links the countries of the world, and the opportunities in various fields of the economy to enhance global economic growth.

He indicated that over the next six months, many economic, cultural and entertainment activities and events will be held, which coincide with Omani national or international events.
