COVID-19: Tunisia receives medicines, equipment donated by Oman

Muscat: The first batch of the medicines and medical equipment that was donated by Oman has been delivered to the Republic of Tunisia, said the Oman Embassy in Tunisia.

A statement issued online by the embassy said: "To embody the historical relationship between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Tunisia, and within the framework of the stand of solidarity with the Tunisian authorities and their support during COVID-19, the first batch of the medicines and medical equipment donated by Oman was received on Wednesday, September 29, 2021."

"The batch was received in the presence of His Excellency Yahya bin Mooosa bin Issa Al Bakri, as Oman’s extraordinary and plenipotentiary Ambassador to the Republic of Tunisia, officials from the Tunisian government, Ali Merabet, who is in charge of running the Ministry of Health, the Navy Lieutenant-General Abdel Raouf Atallah, Senior Adviser to the President of the Republic in charge of National Security, and Lieutenant-General Doctor Mustafa Al Ferjani, Director General of Military Health," the embassy added.
