Muscat: The Business Year, a global media group that has been providing investors, businesses, and governments with first-hand insights into the world’s most dynamic markets for over a decade, recently sat down with Eng. Redha bin Jumah Al Saleh, Chairman of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI).
Al Saleh discussed the role of OCCI in mitigating the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic for businesses in Oman, the prospects of the private sector in the current environment, and the path to Oman Vision 2040.
TBY’s team, led by Elena Barreiro, TBY Regional Director for Oman, Andrea Tsiachtsiri, TBY Country Director for Oman, and Gergana Georgieva, TBY Country Editor for Oman, illustrated the goals of The Business Year: Oman 2021.
The project, supported by The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, will have a special focus on Oman Vision 2040 and the steps Oman is taking toward a more sustainable future. With regard to the OCCI’s commitment to Vision 2040, Al Saleh underlined that the Chamber is laser focused on achieving sustainable economic development across the country via modern methods, including the effective representation of the private sector and the creation of an active business community.
