Zubair Corporation appoints Qais Badr Al Batashi as Head of Public Relations

Muscat: The Zubair Corporation has appointed Qais Badr Al Batashi as Head of Public Relations. This is part of the Corporation’s strategy and vision in empowering young Omani competencies across various leadership positions and instilling in them the confidence to carry out their responsibilities. This appointment is also aligned with the vision of the Omani government focused on enriching national talents in private sector institutions.

Qais joined The Zubair Corporation 8 years ago, where he started as a public relations officer, moving up to his new position as Head of Public Relations in the institution. Through his continuous diligence and hard work over the years, Qais was able to prove his efficiency and commitment. Following this, the company sought to provide him with valuable training opportunities by sending him to Britain to enhance his qualifications, develop knowledge and ideas and refine his skills and competencies, all of which were covered by The Corporation.

Commenting on this occasion, Hilal Omar Al Siyabi, Head of Corporate Services at The Zubair Corporation, said, “At The Zubair Corporation, we are keen to build young Omani competencies to assume senior administrative and operational positions within the Corporation and its subsidiaries. In line with this strategy, we were keen to attract young Omani talents across various disciplines and also train existing talented employees, who are a part of the senior management of the Corporation today.”
