COVID-19: Expats to receive second jab at these centres in Oman

Muscat: The second dose of the free COVID-19 vaccine will be given to expats who have received the first dose. The vaccine will be administered from September 29, 2021, till October 2, 2021, Directorate General of Health Services in South Al Batinah Governorate said.

"The Directorate General of Health Services in South Al Batinah Governorate would like to inform you that expatriate workers will be vaccinated with the second dose for those who received the first dose free of charge from the Ministry of Health, starting from Wednesday, September 29, 2021, until Saturday, October 2, 2021, from 2.30pm to 8.30pm In the following places:

1- Rustaq Medical Fitness Examination Centre

2- Barka Medical Fitness Examination Centre

3- Widam Health Centre
 
4- Nakhal Health Centre."

"Expats must bring a permit for the second dose from the nearest municipality in the governorate's wilayats," the statement added.

Vaccination at Jalan Bani Bu Ali 

The Ministry of Health (MOH) will also vaccinate expats in Jalan Bani Bu Ali with the second dose of the free Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine for those who have received the first dose on August 22-23. The vaccine will be given from 29 to 30 September, 2021.

"The Vaccination Committee in the Wilayat of Jalan Bani Bu Ali announces that the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine second dose will be given to those who received the first dose on 22-23 August, 2021, at the vaccination centres, starting from Wednesday, 29 September, to Thursday, September 30, 2021, from 6am to 10am at the Omani Women's Association (new building). Expatriates must bring a copy of the first vaccination certificate," Directorate General of Health Services in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate said.
