Oman, Luxembourg to enhance trade and investment
The meeting was organised by the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, in the presence of Dr. Sheikh Abdullah bin Salim Al-Harthy.

Luxembourg: The Sultanate and Luxembourg discussed ways to enhance cooperation and increase trade and investment between the two countries, especially in the sectors related to ports, services, logistics, solar energy, and banking and financial sector.

The meeting was organised by the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, in the presence of Dr. Sheikh Abdullah bin Salim Al-Harthy, the Sultanate’s non-resident ambassador to Luxembourg, in which a number of companies of Luxembourg took part.

During the meeting, Al Harthy, the Sultanate’s non-resident ambassador to Luxembourg, spoke about the investment opportunities available in the Sultanate, stressing that Oman is the most important investment destination in the region due to its security, stability, strategic position and good reputation at the regional and international levels.

The companies participating in the meeting expressed their desire to increase trade and investment in the Sultanate.

The meeting was attended by Mark Myers, the honorary consul of the Sultanate, the Director General of the Luxembourg Chamber, the Director of International Relations at the Chamber.
