Muscat: For violating the living water wealth Law, 18 expatriates have been deported to the central prison. Inspection teams also seized a quantity of lobster in an unlicensed fishing boat.
The General Directorate of Agricultural, Fisheries and Water Resources in Al Wusta Governorate said: "A quantity of Sherkha was seized in the village of Ras Madrakah in the Wilayat of Duqm on an unlicensed fishing boat. Necessary legal procedures are being completed."
The directorate added: "In coordination between the directorate and the joint inspection team in the governorates of Muscat and Al Dakhiliya, procedures for the deportation of 18 expatriate workers to the central prison were completed for violating the law of living water wealth who were caught in previous violations."
