Muscat: Oman will resume scheduled air flight operations to the United Kingdom from Wednesday after a gap of six months due to the COVID-19 Disease.
The United Kingdom announced last Friday, a decision to remove the Sultanate from its red list, removing the need for Omanis travelling to the UK to quarantine.
The United Kingdom refreshed the red, yellow and green lists for entry recently and the Sultanate was placed in the yellow list, to come into effect at 4 am UK time on Wednesday, 22 September 2021.
Oman Air said in a statement, "Oman Air will resume its flights between the cities of Muscat and London, with two flights per week, starting from September 22, and fully immunised guests can travel to London without being subject to quarantine upon submitting proof that 14 days have passed since they received the second dose of the vaccine."
The Sultanate was placed in the red list by United Kingdom on the dawn of Friday, March 19, 2021.
