Muscat: Oman participated in an Arab ministerial meeting on the sidelines of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly that was held in New York.
The Sultanate was represented by Dr Mohammed bin Awad Al Hassan, the Sultanate's permanent representative to the United Nations in New York, Oman News Agency (ONA) said in a statement.
"During the meeting, the firm positions of Arab countries were emphasised on a number of issues, foremost of which is the Palestinian issue," the statement added.
