Over 2.8 million vaccinated against COVID-19 in Oman

Muscat: As many as 2,810,262 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19 in Oman with at least the first jab since launching the National Immunisation Campaign till Sunday 19 September, reaching 80 percent of the target segment.

The number of those who received two jabs of COVID-19 vaccine stood at 1,826,224 comprising 52 percent.

The total number of administered doses stood at 4,636,486.

Meanwhile, the ministry of health continues vaccinating target segments against COVID-19 in all governorates of the Sultanate as vaccination centres witness a good daily turnout.
