Muscat: The sixth edition of New Age Banking Summit will take place on September 22, at Al Bustan Palace – A Ritz Carlton Hotel.
Tahir Al Amri, Executive President, Central Bank of Oman will be the chief guest and keynote speaker at the event hosted by Shaikh Salim bin Mustahail Al Mashani.
The summit will showcase the ever-evolving financial eco system in this digital age and how the banks can be future-ready by adopting new strategies, innovating products and services, and reaching out to customers on digital channels, while proactively combating cyber risks and situations such as the pandemic.
It will serve as an engaging platform to focus on new business models to make the banks relevant for next generation customers, and empower them to devise new growth paths and build operation efficiencies.
It will include presentations and discussions involving a cross-section of industry experts from Oman, rest of the GCC and international markets on subjects including digital transformation, fintech, AI, intelligent automation, digital payments, crypto eco-system, cybersecurity, digital customer experience and financial inclusion.
Supported by Oman Banks Association and attended by industry thought leaders, fintech specialists, finance, insurance and investment experts, and mid-to-senior level consultants and bankers, the summit is organised by UMS Events, the event specialist division of United Media Services. Managed under strict social distancing norms with select industry leaders attending in person, the event will cater to a virtual audience of over 200 industry professionals on Zoom and additional viewers watching the live proceedings on YouTube.
The Oman Banking & Finance Awards, powered by Oman Economic Review (OER), will be co-located with the Summit. The awards will felicitate the key industry leaders, organisations and products/solutions that are at the forefront of new-age financial services in the Sultanate.
