2 fishing vessels seized in Oman

Muscat: Fisheries Monitoring Team arrested five expatriate workers in Al Wusta Governorate.

“The Fisheries Monitoring Team of the Directorate General of Agricultural and Fisheries Wealth and Water Resources in Al Wusta Governorate seized this morning in Duqm two fishing vessels violating the employment of expatriate workers,” the General Directorate of Agricultural Wealth, Fisheries and Water Resources in Al Wusta Governorate said.

“Five expatriate workers were arrested and handed over to the joint inspection team in preparation for their deportation, and the violators were summoned to complete the necessary legal procedures,” the General Directorate added.
