Oman transport: 12-km Jibreen-Ibri dual-carriageway partially opens

Muscat: The Ministry of Transport and Communications yesterday opened a 12 km stretch of the Jibreen–Ibri dual-carriageway project to traffic.
The opened section runs from Al Jibayah to Al Qrain. This brings the total length of the opened section of the project to 86 kilometres.
With the opening the last part, the ministry has completed more than 95 per cent of the project, which has a total length of 90 kilometres.
Work is on to complete the remaining 4-kilometre section of the project by the end of the current year.
