Fire at a farm in Oman extinguished

Muscat: Firefighting teams have extinguished a fire that broke out in a farm in South Al Batinah Governorate.

"The firefighting teams of the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department in the Governorate of South Al Batinah were able to put out a fire that broke out in a farm in the Al Maldah area in the Wilayat of Al Musanah, without registering any injuries," the authority said in a statement.

The authority calls on farmers to dispose of agricultural waste in a safe way to avoid risks.
