Muscat: Add more fun and excitement to your daily drive with the new Mitsubishi Attrage and Mirage, now available with a host of benefits from General Automotive Company (GAC), the official distributor of Mitsubishi vehicles in Oman, as part of their recently launched ‘Double Your Joy’ promotion. This new promotion helps you double your savings on your brand-new Attrage or Mirage by not only providing cashback rewards but also a VAT back, together with a host of other attractive benefits.
Commenting on the Attrage and Mirage, Zuwaina Al Azri, Communications Manager said, “The Attrage and Mirage, although entry level models in the Mitsubishi range, they both offer the same tried and true performance, reliability, comfort, and safety as any other vehicle deserving of the tri-diamond badge. With the updated styling for 2021, they also now feature a more refined, sharper look that visually ties them to Mitsubishi's current design language.”
For the duration of the two-month promotion, which ends on 14 October 2021, Customers purchasing the Attrage or Mirage will receive a cashback ranging from OMR 1,200 up to OMR 1,600 together with a 5 per cent VAT back. In addition, select models will also come with a 2 years/30,000km free service package, one-year free insurance and registration, a trade-in bonus of OMR 300, and a six-year unlimited mileage warranty and roadside assistance will be applicable on all models.
For the 2021 model year, both the Mirage and Attrage feature revised front and rear styling. Out front, the vehicles incorporate Mitsubishi’s latest Dynamic Shield grille design. This revised front bumper design, in particular, gives both cars a dose of sportiness to go with its efficiency message. These improvements provide the Mirage and Attrage with a more refined, sharper look while visually tying the vehicles to Mitsubishi’s current design language.
On the inside, both the Attrage and Mirage feature comfortable cloth seating and high-quality materials throughout the cabin, together with the best levels of interior room and cargo storage space available in their class. For 2021, Mitsubishi is also introducing its 7-inch Smartphone Link Display Audio (SDA) System in the Highline versions of the Mirage and Attrage.
Both models retain the 1.2-litre 3-cylinder DOHC engine, featuring the latest version of Mitsubishi Innovative Valve timing Electronic Control (MIVEC), producing 78 horsepower and 100 Nm of torque; ample power for comfortable day-to-day driving. The engine was built with efficiency at its core and teamed with Mitsubishi’s INVECS-III continuously variable transmission, offers class-leading fuel economy of just 22 KMS/Litre.
The Attrage and Mirage also come equipped with a wide array of safety features. These include a dual front Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) airbag, four-wheel anti-lock brakes (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist, hill start assist, and Active Stability Control (ASC). Additional protection is provided to the vehicle's occupants by Mitsubishi Motors' patented high-tech Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution (RISE) impact-absorbing safety cell technology.
