Initial approval for expansion of Samail Industrial City received

Muscat: Madayn has received initial approval to expand Samail Industrial City by nearly five million sqm.

Eng. Dawood Al Hadabi, Director General of Samail Industrial City said: “Madayn has received initial approval from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning to expand Samail Industrial City by nearly five million sqm, which will provide 600 additional land plots. More than 52 per cent of leasable land has been reserved so far.”

“A total of ten projects were localised in Samail Industrial City during the first half of 2021 with an investment volume of more than OMR five million, which brings the total investment volume in the industrial city to more than OMR 88 million,” Al Hadabi added.
