PCR test not required for children under 18 years entering Oman: CAA

Muscat: Children under 18 years of age are exempted from the requirement to present a PCR certificate and from proof of having taken the vaccine when travelling to Oman.

Oman Civil Aviation Authority CAA issued a circular to all travellers arriving and airlines operating in Oman.

CAA said in a statement: "The categories exempted from presenting the vaccination certificate and the PCR examination certificate are:

- Those coming to Oman aged 18 years and under.

- Those who have diseases that prevent them from receiving the vaccine along with an approved medical certificate

Omanis and their families who left Oman before the issuance of the circular on August 23 and up to two months after the issuance of the circular are exempted from the condition of taking the vaccine.
