Vaccination drive for school students ends in this governorate

Muscat: School students aged 12 years and above have been administered the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine in Al Dhahirah Governorate as the vaccination drive comes to an end.

"The Directorate General of Health Services in Al Dhahirah Governorate announces the end of the vaccination campaign with the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine for school students aged 12 to 17 years in all schools in the governorate," Directorate General of Health Services in Al Dhahirah Governorate said in a statement.

The Directorate General added that students who did not receive the vaccine during the campaign must go to the previously announced immunisation centres in the governorate without the need to take a prior appointment, starting from Sunday, August 22, 2021.
