Muscat: Starting from August 21 evening, the Supreme Committee will lift the night movement ban on individuals, vehicles and commercial activities in Oman.
This decision has been made to reinstall normalcy as COVID-19 cases see a dip after a number of movement restrictions since the beginning of the pandemic.
The committee stresses that it is necessary to keep adhering to all precautionary measures established by the competent authorities, the most important of which are wearing a mask and maintaining social distance.
The Supreme Committee said COVID-19 vaccination will be made mandatory from September 1 to enter government offices, shopping malls, restaurants, private sector facilities and venues hosting cultural, sports and group activities. Also, only vaccinated people will be allowed to enter the Sultanate.
