Expats workers to be vaccinated in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate next week

Muscat: The Directorate General of Health Services in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate has announced that the expatriate workers will be vaccinated on next Sunday and Monday.

The Directorate General of Health Services in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate published an alert saying: “The Vaccination Committee in the Wilayat of Sur would like to inform its dear customers that the vaccination campaign will continue next week as follows: Sunday and Monday, 22 and 23 of August 2021, at Sports Complex in Sur. Vaccines will be administered to expatriate workers including female domestic workers and female workers in beauty centers on Sunday. Barbers, domestic workers, workers in restaurants and butcheries, and those who sell poultry and fish will be vaccinated on Monday.”

The statement added: “All Omanis of 12 years of age and over (including school students) will be vaccinated at Lubaba Bint Al Harith School for Basic Education on August 22 and 23. The Sports Complex will resume with vaccination forms only for Omanis of 12 years and over for the rest of the days.”
