Muscat: The fish control team has seized 240 kilograms of shrimp in Al Wusta Governorate.
“The shrimp was seized with the support of the Royal Oman Police, represented by the Mahout Police Station, and the case referred to relevant authorities," the Directorate General of Agriculture, Fisheries Wealth and Water Resources in the governorate said.
It is illegal to catch shrimp in Oman from the beginning of December to the end of August.
