Commercial store in Oman shut for violations

Muscat: The Consumer Protection Authority in Nizwa shut down a commercial store for selling electronic cigarettes and shisha.

“The Consumer Protection Department in the Governorate of Al Dakhiliyah managed to shut a commercial store that traded in and sold electronic cigarettes and shisha, as part of the efforts made by the authority in the various governorates of the Sultanate in following up and monitoring markets, curbing abuses committed by some suppliers, and combating the spread of unauthorised goods that have a negative impact on the health of the individual and society," the Authority said in a statement.
