Muscat: As many as 2,155,932 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19 in the Sultanate since launching of the National Immunization Campaign till yesterday (Sunday) 15 August, reaching 61 percent of the targeted population.
The number of those who took the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine stood at 1,360,206 comprising 63 percent while the number of those who are fully vaccinated (two doses) stood at 795,726 comprising 37 percent.
Meanwhile, the ministry of health continues vaccinating target segments against Covid-19 in all governorates of the Sultanate.
Today, vaccination centers in all governorates witnessed a good turnout from the target segments.
