Oman's Honourable Lady visits museum, park

Muscat: The Honourable Lady, spouse of His Majesty the Sultan, visited Al Baleed Archaeological Park, in Dhofar Governorate's Wilayat of Salalah, on Sunday.

"The Honourable Lady's tour began at the Museum of the Frankincense Land, one of the highlights of the park," the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism said.

The museum houses historically significant articles, from varied periods and locations across Oman, including miniature models of traditional Omani ships. 

The Honourable Lady then toured the various other facilities of the park. In support of the Omani cottage industry, the Honourable Lady visited the outlets selling traditional handicrafts.

She concluded the tour by recording her appreciation in the VIP visitor's register.
