Muscat: Oman, represented by the Ministry of Foreign, has expressed condolences to the Republic of Lebanon over the fuel tanker explosion.
"Oman expresses its sincere condolences to the government and people of the Republic of Lebanon, especially to the families of the victims," Oman News Agency said in a statement.
The tank exploded on Sunday in Akkar, northern Lebanon, leaving 28 dead and 79 injured, based on current reports.
"Oman wishes the injured a speedy recovery," added the statement.
