Expat killed in Sohar factory fire

Muscat: An expat was killed due to the fire that broke out at a factory in the Wilayat of Sohar, North Al Batinah Governorate, the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) said.

“After strenuous efforts made by the firefighting and rescue teams at the CDAA department in North Al Batinah Governorate, they were able to manage and control a fire that broke out at a factory in Sohar Industrial Area. The teams rescued four people who are in good health and recorded the death of an Asian," CDAA said in a statement.
