College of Banking and Financial Studies appoints new Dean

Muscat: College of Banking and Financial Studies has announced the appointment of Dr. Zahran Al Salti as the new Dean.

 Dr. Al Salti has more than 23 years of experience at the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation and Sultan Qaboos University. He started his career at the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation where he held a number of technical and administrative positions, the last of which was the Director of Postgraduate Studies at the Directorate General of Scholarships.

In 2004, he moved to Sultan Qaboos University as a faculty member of the College of Economics and Political Science at Sultan Qaboos University and later as the Director of the Centre for Community Service and Continuing Education in addition to his academic work from 2017 to 2020.

Dr. Al-Salti holds a Bachelor's degree from the USA and Master`s and Doctorate degrees from the UK.
